Cover the pot containing the inner coil on your John Ellis LWM-5 Living Water Machine with this 8-inch vented glass lid. The clear tempered glass top has a steam vent, stainless steel rim, and stainless steel handle. Includes one lid. Machine and pot are not included.

Why use a lid? The lid helps retain heat and reduces the amount of steam escaping from the open pot. Based on our experience using this setup, it may help shorten the time needed to produce one gallon of John Ellis water. Production time varies with operating conditions; no specific time savings are guaranteed.

Reducing escaping steam can also help limit moisture buildup around the machine. The lid is vented, not sealed, and does not eliminate the need for appropriate room ventilation. Keep the steam vent unobstructed and follow the machine manufacturer’s operating instructions.
